More DOGS Requests!
To balance out the minor setback of a pass earlier in the week from Bantam/RH, Friday brings three new requests for the manuscript of DOGS OF PARSONS HOLLOW, any of which could deliver results. Pitches by my agent at Inklings Literary, Michelle L. Johnson, have gone out to a few more editors as well, so these requests may be only the first of others to come.
So, for those keeping score, the MS is still active at Penguin, and has now been requested by Grand Central (Hachette), Seventh Street (Prometheus), and Kensington. Getting such quick requests from the new pitch sends a strong signal that our DOGS will eventually find the right publishing home.
As always, more on this news as it develops—no matter what may come of all these requests, it’s a good way to finish the week, right? Right.
