Auction in Support of the SC Writer’s Workshop is live!

Michelle L Johnson is a woman of many talents, and here we see her fine efforts to put on this auction in support of the ailing SC Writer’s Workshop, the details of which may be read in this prior post. A terrific effort, and for such a good cause. It’s a bad time for the arts, and here’s a chance for artists and patrons to band together and make a difference—in this pitiless economic client, it’s ever more clear that where we can, we’ve got to look out for ourselves, ’cause ain’t nobody else gonna get off the couch and do it for us!

Writers especially will look closely at these items which include a number of professional critiques that normally would cost hundreds of dollars. Critiques… oh-so useful, if not crucial—a critique I received at a prior edition of the SC Writer’s Workshop conference a few years ago led to the draft that attracted Michelle’s attention this past year, and to her eventual signing of me as a client. Bravo to critiques! Bravo to the SC Writer’s Workshop!*
